Camera Hog

It is getting increasingly harder to take pictures of Reagan. As soon as she sees the camera she either wants to be right in front of it, or she wants to take it away. I caught her playing quietly by herself today but once she saw the camera she had to be in on the action.

Little Walker

Reagan has been braving pushing her hippo across the playroom this week. Normally, she holds onto it and then gets down and crawls while pushing it. Today, she finally decided to stand and walk with it. The first picture is the face I captured as she took those first steps, then the video.

Piano Player

Reagan seems to have discovered where her musical talent is. Not on the piano exactly, but the pedals. That's right...our little girl is going to be a pedal player. :)

Recent pictures

I know it has been about a year since I have updated Reagan's blog, so I am going to cram several weeks worth of stuff into only a few posts.

Reagan is growing by leaps and bounds and is talking up a storm. She now says Bubba (the dog), Daddy, Momma (when she is upset), up (to stand or be picked up), uh-oh (for no apparent reason), and roars like her dinosaur. She waves when we say bye-bye or night-night and she has two new teeth on the top now, for a total of four. We are amazed everyday at how much she is changing and growing right before our eyes.

Reagan in her ever curious quest to find those good toys she knows we are hiding.

Reagan and Daddy catching up on a little FOX News.
Searching for her birthday gifts in my closet.
She was sure she had another cheerio there somewhere. She wore it for about fifteen minutes before it finally fell off of her head.

Reagan the Painter

Reagan got to finger paint for the first time today. She wasn't sure what to do at first and made a face when I stuck her hand in the paint. It only took her a minute though before she was smearing it everywhere, including all over her highchair and clothes. Good times!

Little Monkey

Reagan tried on her Halloween costume a few days ago. Not that she is going trick or treating, but every little girl needs a costume for her first Halloween. Ellis was very curious about the "new kid" in the playroom.

Room Enough for Two!

Reagan now plays almost daily under her exersaucer. Ellis has discovered her secret and although there is another exersaucer (his) they both want to play in the same one...at the same time. So far, there are no injuries to report and they both think it is hysterical. Well, mostly Reagan, but Ellis gets a kick out of it sometimes too. I couldn't resist putting this video up.

10 Months Old!

I am way late in getting these pictures up, but here they are, Miss 10 Month Old Girl! Getting her to sit in the chair is getting harder and harder. She still loves her Elmo chair, but she wants to sit in front of it so she can see Elmo. When I can get her to sit in it, she tries to get the camera as soon as she sees it.

This is one of her (successful) attempts to pull the sign down. She thought it was big fun pulling it down off of the wall. I am going to have to be more creative in hanging the sign where she can't get it but where I can still get it in the picture. :)

New Uses for Old Toys

I don't know why I haven't taken Reagan's exersaucer to the basement. She rarely ever uses it and when she does it is never for more than a few minutes. I think she must have sensed that I was about to take it downstairs, as she suddenly found a new way to use it. This is how I found her after walking out of the room for a minute. I think she was trying to reach a toy that was in the saucer and just decided to stay for a while once she got in.
