Last One

This is the black and white version of the photo shoot. :o

Photo Shoot

These were just pictures from me playing with the camera. Reagan enjoyed playing in (and trying to eat) the sand.

Beach Fun

Another stroll down the beach.
Reagan's first real day on the beach wore her out. She was having some water in her stroller and fell asleep

Sunrise

This is sunrise behind a few clouds on New Smyrna Beach. This is the view from our balcony. Pictures of any sunrise, courtesy of Reagan. LOL

Ponce Deleon Lighthouse

We made it all the way to the top. 203 steps. JD carried Reagan the whole way up and then nearly had a heart attack at the bottom. :) It was beautiful, especially from the top. We didn't take any pictures up there, don't ask me why. This was my very first time seeing a lighthouse. I see now why my Mom and Dad like them so much. We made it to St. Augustine and had planned to visit the lighthouse there, but the rain and storms never seem to let up, so we didn't make it.

Pictures from the top are (1) Reagan and JD ready to climb to the top. (2) Reagan and JD on the second floor. You can see how far it is to the top. The winding staircase is made from marble and the railings are cast iron. (3) Reagan and I at the top of the lighthouse (4) JD trying not to have a heart attack after climbing to the top and then back down while carrying Reagan (5) the Ponce Deleon lighthouse

Reagan's New Toy

We bought Reagan a set of nesting blocks at one of the toy stores when we went shopping in St. Augustine. Those were fun and all but the box was well worth more than the five or so dollars we paid for what came in it. She played with the blocks for about five minutes and the box they came in for about an hour. :) I still say they should sell the boxes separately for those of us who aren't really interested int he toy inside.

More Pictures!

Here are some more pictures from our condo and our walks on the beach. Reagan loved to ride in her stroller and let the waves wash up under her.

This Is More Like It!

After Reagan's little run in with the waves, we headed to the pool which was much more her speed. The wind was really strong that day and nearly flipped her over in her baby float while we were in the pool, even with me holding onto it. She didn't mind too much though. She is such a little water dog.

What's an Ocean?

We made it to our condo in New Smyrna Beach, FL Sunday evening. This place was unbelievable. We had looked at the sample pictures of the place online, but we were blown away at how nice it was. We had a 5th and top floor condo with three bedrooms, two baths, a balcony overlooking the ocean, full kitchen and dining...this place was bigger than our first house. Anyway, we were immediately in love with it and were so thankful that I have such an awesome aunt and uncle to provide it! Woo-hoo!

The next morning, we took Reagan down to the beach for her first look at the ocean. You can see in the still pictures that she was fine with it. Then, watch the video. The first day was a bit traumatic for her but she got more and more used to it as the week went on.

Savannah, GA

I have always wanted to go to Savannah so we made sure to schedule a few hours in our day on the way to Florida to stop and see a few things. We took a 90 minute trolley tour around historic Savannah. It was really fun and we got to see all of the highlights. Reagan loved riding in the open trolley and as usual, commanded the attention of everyone around us.

Unfortunately, we didn't get any other pictures in Savannah, although we did end us buying the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil since our tour guide mentioned it so much on the tour. It was an interesting movie, although I think knowing some of the history behind the story made it especially interesting for us.

Columbia, SC

Our first stop was in Columbia, SC. We (JD) drove until we (he) just couldn't drive anymore and found a hotel in the middle of the night. This is Reagan and me at about 1:30 am having a snack before I put her back to bed.

The next morning, Reagan awoke bright and early, ready to go. She loves to jump in bed with her Daddy to make sure he is awake too!

Daddy's Little MAC girl

Reagan LOVES to play with the keyboard to the computer but she continually presses just the right combination of keys to really screw things up. So, we found a game online where nearly every key makes an animal appear or make a funny noise. The game is geared towards infants and toddlers and teaches cause and effect.

She really liked it although by the time I thought to get the camera, she was getting a little grumpy and ready to get up. Still, it was big fun!

Smiley Girl!

She loves her dinosaur!

Extreme Closeup

Reagan is getting a little impatient with the Mommy Paparazzi. She tried to take my camera away from me today. She kind of got in my face a little. LOL. I had to show off those chubby little feet, too.

Crawling Olympics

Reagan is now crawling just because she can. Well, at least if she thinks she can get to Ki. Notice me cut the camera off rather quickly to keep her from actually "getting" Ki.

Little POWs

These poor kids are traumatized by the gate to the playroom. LOL

Little Snacker

Reagan feeding herself puffs, a handful at a time!

Some New Tricks

Reagan has learned a few new tricks this week. She loves to stand up on her legs without taking her arms off the ground. I keep thinking she might try to crawl this way, but so far she hasn't.

Her other new trick is pulling herself up to stand. She has been doing this for a while using my hands, but this week she has started to pull up on everything as you can see in the pictures!

Happy Girl!

I am trying to make up for not posting anything new in over a week AND we are leaving for Florida this weekend, so I know I won't be posting any next week. I will put up as many as I can tonight. You faithful blog watchers may need to ration. :)

Little Camper

Reagan got to visit with her cousins and extended family over the holiday weekend at camp. She had a fun day outside and enjoyed playing with everyone. I think Taylor may be her biggest fan. :)
