Reagan turned nine months old yesterday. She had her 9 month well baby checkup today. The doctor says everything looks great. She weighed 19 pounds 2 ounces and was 27 inches long. A shortie for her weight but she comes by that naturally. She is all smiles for the doctor in the first picture since she did not have to get any shots today!

The pool was great today. Reagan had a great time and even sat in her float for a while. We can't wait to take her to the beach and let her check out the ocean. Too bad her Mommy is afraid of it and she won't get more than ankle deep. :) Still, the resort has three pools so she should still get some water time in.

Reagan finally let me look in her mouth today. I can for sure see another tooth getting close to breaking through. She has been very resistant to letting me look into her mouth for the last few days and now I know why.
Reagan and I had a big day of cooking a birthday cake and dinner for JD. She "made" him a special card and even stamped her foot into it. She had a bit of vanilla ice cream after dinner which she loved. I think she has decided that birthdays are pretty fun, even when they aren't hers. :)
Reagan LOVES to type. Well, more like pound the keyboard with her fists. She has found lots of shortcuts on both the PC and the Mac that we can't figure out how to undo so her Daddy got her her very own laptop. LOL. He dug out an old school laptop that he doesn't use so she can pound the keyboard without making any disastrous changes to our computers. Not surprisingly, she lost interest in it pretty quickly since no one tried to stop her :)
Today was our first day with Ellis. He and Reagan did great. I was really worried that I would continually have to separate them after their last visit together, but they got along wonderfully. They did have a few "grabbing matches" over toys, but I don't think either of them was trying to be mean or selfish :) The day was rather uneventful. I did get a little taste of what it is going to be like when Reagan starts crawling. Ellis is on the go non-stop, so I am exhausted. We really enjoyed having Ellis here today!

Reagan is loving the biter biscuits I have given her this week. They really do seem to make her feel better, or at least distract her with sugar. They are basically rock hard cookies. Anyway, she gnawed this one to bits and had to go immediately into the sink. I didn't even want to take her all the way to the bathroom. I just filled up the sink and put her in. She thought that was pretty cool. :)

Reagan got her first pair of big girl shoes. These have actual bottoms and she is able to stand much better in them than she does on her bare feet. JD thinks they are pretty ugly, but how can you not smile at baby Nike's? Here are a couple of pictures of Reagan checking out her new shoes. Note those sweet little legs in the second picture.
